2009 WHAS CRUSADE FOR CHILDREN

Newcomb Oil Co. employees recently donated $1740 to the WHAS Crusade for Children.  The donation was presented to the Bardstown-Nelson Co. Fire Department for delivery to the Crusade.  The annual Crusade Weekend event is hosted by WHAS television of Louisville the first full weekend of each June.

The Crusade for Children is a charity that exists to change the lives of children with special needs in Kentucky and Indiana.  Since 1954 the Crusade has impacted an estimated 3 million children in Kentucky and Indiana.  100% of each donation to the WHAS Crusade for Children helps children with special needs.^{1
